Sanso Tōda is a 230-year-old komminka currently undergoing a full renovation.
Our vision is to preserve the historical architecture while adding modern comforts for guest stays and retreats, all in harmony with the surrounding natural beauty.
Our opening is planned in the following stages, subject to change:
April 2026 – July 2027: Full-Scale Renovation
December 2026: Official website release and retreat booking starts.
July 2027: Soft Opening
